Pariplay Strengthens Standing in Spanish Market via Partnership with R. Franco Digital

Presence of Pariplay game content in Spain to be bolstered through partnership pioneering provider

Pariplay Ltd., the No. 1 aggregator and content provider behind innovative products including the Fusion aggregation platform and the Ignite Studio development programme, has today announced it has signed an agreement with a leading global gaming solutions provider, Recreativos Franco Digital (R. Franco Digital). Through the deal, high quality content from Pariplay and its Ignite and Fusion products will be made available to even more operators and their players in the rapidly growing Spanish market, in addition to expanding the reach of R. Franco Digital’s portfolio via the aggregation platform.

“The agreement paves the way for CME Group to list weekly, monthly and quarterly cash-settled futures contracts, pending regulatory review, based on the CME FSPI MLB benchmarks,” according to a statement issued by FutureSports.

Launch dates for the MLB team futures contracts weren’t revealed, but spring training for the 2027 season commences on Friday, Feb. 19, according to the league schedule.

The initial batch of FSPIs launched with NHL performance gauges, triggering a wave of filings from exchange-traded fund (ETF) issuers seeking to launch futures-based funds for each professional hockey team. One issuer even filed plans for leveraged ETFs tied to the NHL indexes.

A memorandum of understanding, signed on Monday, aims to tackle rising gambling exposure among schoolchildren through smartphones. The aim is to integrate preventative education with broader school-based initiatives.

The agreement was signed at Osan Seongho Middle School and links gambling prevention education with a “phone free” strategy alongside RAS education. RAS is an approach combining reading, arts and sports and is designed to occupy students’ time with structured, screen-free activities. 

The dual approach seeks not only to limit access to gambling content on smartphones but also to provide meaningful alternatives that reduce overall reliance on digital devices.
